The project combines elements from eastern and western pop culture. Elements from the markets of Southeast of Asia meet the plastic Chinese gadget shops spreading across western cities. Food is served from a little kiosk created for the event; muffins and Chinese good-luck cakes stand side by side, soup is served in coffee cups, mixed nuts & candy in little paper bags and cakes are packed in colourful fabrics. 

Il progetto unisce elementi della cultura pop di oriente e occidente. E’ ispirato ai mercati dell’Asia sud-orientale, ma anche ai negozi di gadget cinesi che aumentano sempre più nelle città occidentali. Muffins e biscotti della fortuna cinesi stanno fianco a fianco sullo stesso tavolo. La zuppa è servita in tazze come il caffè, i dolci sono impacchettati in pezzi di stoffa colorata, semi e caramelle stanno in piccole bustine di carta. Il cibo è servito da un piccolo chiosco creato per l’evento..
