POP UP - Spazio Pacinotti, Bologna, July 2004 The idea of Arabeschi di latte for the art-music-theatre event at the Pacinotti space in Bologna is "goluppe", bags made of white cotton and hanging from a tree, as part of an art installation. The bags become a gift, a treasure-trove, a game starting a new situation, an occasion for sociality through the participants' interaction enhanced by all the excitement of a new discovery. Each bag becomes, once opened, a tablecloth to be spread and arranged with the food inside. Rolls, ripe apricots, sweets and a lullaby... all the essential ingredients for an intimate dinner. The tree, once stripped of the bags, is left only with light white threads floating in the wind, which lends constant dynamism to the installation.
