| "WANDERING STAR" Ex-MUD, Florence, March 30, 2004 A 6 x 4 metre silver cushion occupies the pavement of the courtyard of Ex-MUD disco-bar in Florence on which people lie down and converse at the sound of electronic music coming from underground while glowing bubbles are projected on the surrounding walls. Arabeschi di latte tunes in with this party dedicated to the stars supplying 600 black plastic bags with sandwiches in the shape of a star wrapped in silver foil. Stars are everywhere: on gadgets and stickers, in projections and video-installations. Twelve giant chocolate cakes are lit with shining sticks that illuminate the place creating an effect which is reminiscent of New Year's Eve. |
